Aspen Ridge Equine Hospital P.C. has two veterinarians on staff.
In addition, we have several staff members to handle the administrative tasks.
Charles Woodall, DVM
Veterinarian, President
University of Florida, 1991
Dr. Woodall moved to Colorado Springs in 1994 from Florida where he practiced in
a very large equine practice in Ocala for two years following graduation from the University
of Florida in 1991. Equine veterinary medicine was the natural career choice after growing
up with horses and competing in equestrian sports ranging from rodeo to polo. He started
working with a large animal veterinarian at the age of 15 and has continued to work in the
equine veterinary field ever since. Upon moving to Colorado Springs, Dr. Woodall became the
only associate equine veterinarian for a long established veterinary practice in the area.
North Academy Veterinary Hospital had one of the only large animal surgery facilities on the
Front Range and a long-standing good reputation for veterinary care of horses in the area.
Aspen Ridge Equine Hospital P.C. was established in 2000 and with the
completion of the new full service equine hospital just south of Monument,
Dr. Woodall continues to work hard to maintain a reputation of honesty and
knowledgeable care for horses in the Pikes Peak region.
Dr. Melanie Robinson
Veterinarian
Jeni Doubleday
Jeni is in charge of coordinating the administrative duties of Aspen Ridge Equine Hospital. She came to work for practice when it was moved to the Monument area in 2002 and goes over and beyond the call of duty to insure everything is in it's place as well as tending to the extra needs of our clients and patients. Her friendly nature is always appreciated by everyone.
